Crumbs Shocked Surely thats a very good photo-shop? How can 2.7 tons (more with the extras) not crush the bonnet and front end?

I think that really is a pillow, airbags deflate about as quick as they inflate

Look like this was the event (judging by the sticker on the D3) &feature=related

No D3 in the vid, so probably from a different year, but looks like an incredible place to go.

Spain 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham BlueDiscovery 3

The photos were from a spanish Toyota KDJ website and they're real Shocked It was a French D3.

http://foro.kdjoteros.com/viewtopic.php?t=...mp;start=0

Further down the thread they commented that the guy was a bit of a nutter and flew/bounced about 30 metres from the top of a dune until it's final resting place. They got it out and the next day the D3 blew it's clutch making him abandon his expedition (something which seems to have given the Toyota guys plenty to laugh about Rolling Eyes ).

If you look on the second page, there's a few Defenders that have done the same thing (again....much to their obvious amusement).

Just thinking about what Gareth said.....if it had air suspension and went into extended, then the front RH wheel would probably have levered the D3 over and onto it's roof Shocked
