I have the new disk in now, and although it comes-up with the "do you want to enter a destination" after the start-up screen, this can be switched-off in the preferences screen for people (like me) who usually don't 8)

France

Is anybody knows if here is any changes with the TMC function with this knew version ?
In France i couldn't sync premium TMC channels . Only free TMC is available( motorway channel) and now the MY08 D3 is clearly specify premium tmc service.
Do they change the tmc module spec or is it only the updating tmc codes on the dvd ?

thanks Sheep

Add speed cameras and POIs

Does anyone know if it's possible to import speed camera locations? I know this can be done to BMW derived units but not sure about the current Densio DVD system?

My Sat Nav doesn't do the traffic info 2008.5 MY ...XS
It jsut strikes me if locations can be added and stored the unit is capable to acquiring data and keeping it.

I found that turning off all preferred roads gives much better directions, does anyone else find this?

Biggest problem I had was in Austria - wouldn't let me drive on Motorways no matter what I tried - until a turned off the 'avoid toll roads' option - Embarassed Even though there are no booths, the Sat Nav considers all Austrian M-ways to be toll as you have to pre pay a vignette!

Now leave all preferences "off" and it is much better at giving sensible routes.

Part of Spain at the top of Africa, the Spanish equivalent of Gibraltar. We normally spend a night there on the way to and back from Morocco, first time we went spent ages finding the hotel
