Flickering Sat Nav
My Sat Nav display keeps going bright and dull, not fast but once or twice a minute, often for 10 or 15 mins or so and then will be OK for a while.
Every time I take it to the dealer it behave exemplary.
Anyone had this problem? Any ideas why it's happening?2008 D3 HSE Stornoway Grey with Ebony Leather, towing a Coachman VIP 575

Same here - tried to video it but it never showed up.
It is on the list for the next visit to the stealer.
I think it is associated with the low temperatures of late as it did / does not happen when the car gets warmed through. It is if there is a dry joint or similar in the system that is misbehaving with the cold - either that or the LCD screens don't like being cold, poor things!D3 - 2008.5MY HSE, Stornaway Grey, RSE etc - all the toys

Could be the light sensor. Mine has a funny five minutes just as the ambient light changes from 'daylight' to 'dusk' type conditions21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Mine too, if you shine a torch at the light sensor in the bottom of the tacho, you will see the effect. It is supposed to dim at night, and brighten in the daylight. There are certain light levels where the screen could be a little undecided.
I dont think its a fault, more a characteristic.

Mine fluctuates more noticeably if the instruments are partly dimmed. turn the dash up to full brightness & the display fluctuation isn't noticeable.
The display backlight % can be seen in the 'hidden' display screens. Varies quite a lot & most of the time you won't notice that it has adjusted.

Mine does the same but as Dave T said. It only does it if the instruments are partly dimmed, turn it up full, or to low setting and it stops.
