No copied discs worked, the screen just sits with "Insert Map DVD"

Replacing with the original (destroyed) disc displays part of a map but goes to "DVD Read Error" once moving (presumably it tries to read a damaged area of the disc).

Sounds like we need a new player then - quite angry that the LR extended warranty doesn't cover it. Evil or Very Mad

There's one on its own at £700, or a kit of sat nav bits for £300.

The listing states the DVD player is £2K list and he is selling it for £700. Surely a DVD drive is not that expensive Shocked . How much is TLO's price.

EDIT: The £300 looks like a good deal as you will have a spare radio and screen.
