These were my mate's pics (the picture of myself gave it away) - I am sure he will be honoured; maybe we will tip him over the edge and make him buy one (disco as well as calendar!)
I see Neil or wvlenthe have uploaded into the gallery 2007 TDV6 XS Silver

Quote:Nice job too
Thanks!
Quote: what did you d to it?
Not too much actually .
For the interested:
- cut out the car and the wave in front of it, placed on seperate layer
- sharpened this layer to make it look crisp
- increased lighting on background by 25%
- increased lighting on car by 14% (this is trial and error, not even educated guess )
- applied gaussian blur to the background
It wasn't to my satisfaction then so I undid the gaussian blur
- cut out the water part from the background and put on third layer
- applied gaussian blur to the background
- applied a little less blur to the water part
Well, merged the layers and saved as jpg.
All in all about 30 minutes work. Selecting the cutout of the car was the part that took the longest.
I'm using Photoshop Elements.
I see that the original version is put into the calendar gallery. I'll put the edited version into that tonight.

Ok after consulting Discoagogo and NeilD I submitted the pic in question into the Calendar Gallery.
@Discoagogo, the pic is no 6 Megapixel. Do you have a version of larger resolution if need be?
@Martin, I'm not sure I did the 'CALENDAR ENTRY' tagging correctly. Can you please confirm if I did this correctly?
I'm posting the original and edited version below just to show the difference. Please remember it is to *my* taste. Anyone who doesn't like it: please look away.
