Been loitering with intent on RRS of late and have found that the majority of the threads (in no particular order)are about
1) Colour coding
2) Bling
3) Wheels
4) Cheap tyres (hankook, nanking, that sort of cheap)
If ever there were proof that the RRS brigade are about style over substance, this would appear to be it. Spend a packet of shiny bits, then scrounge around for the cheapest rubber you can find to keep it on the road. There was even a debate about whether a set of worn tyres were legal or not, with pics showing the sort of wear that would have had me changing rubber 5000 miles ago. Yeah, they were legal in the strict definition of legal, but would I want to drive a car with the shoulders rubbed out like that? Would I hell. And they call us

look at the locations too, i was up in weybridge afew weeks back, parked outside a shop for 5 mins, came out and there was no less than 4 RRS's within 30 feet of where i parked, and then 2 drove past while i was waiting to get out of the space...
was amazed after being down here in the sticks for a bit..

it's funny, i quite like the RRS on some days of the week, and then the next day i can't stand them,, usually after seeing some footballer type looking like a muppet etc etc etc..
at least they look better than the BMW X6, now there's a p+nis extension if ever i saw one..

My Mantec would be much lighter as well if it was made up of LEDs
