Them and Us

No, not a BNP thread for a change Whistle

Been loitering with intent on RRS of late and have found that the majority of the threads (in no particular order)are about

1) Colour coding
2) Bling
3) Wheels
4) Cheap tyres (hankook, nanking, that sort of cheap)

If ever there were proof that the RRS brigade are about style over substance, this would appear to be it. Spend a packet of shiny bits, then scrounge around for the cheapest rubber you can find to keep it on the road. There was even a debate about whether a set of worn tyres were legal or not, with pics showing the sort of wear that would have had me changing rubber 5000 miles ago. Yeah, they were legal in the strict definition of legal, but would I want to drive a car with the shoulders rubbed out like that? Would I hell. And they call us Censored Rolling Eyes

There, that should set the cat amongst the pigeons for a Friday afternoon..... Whistle

was amazed after being down here in the sticks for a bit..

It's a 'Range Rover' for people who queue-up to buy gold-plated ear-rings at Christmas. Rolling Eyes

Might as well re-name the Freelander as a D3Sport. Yawn

Dosh - I brought my kids a Pug 206, so wanted to be a bit more clued up on fixing stuff on the baby pug, so registered on http://www.206info.co.uk/index.php

Now - there's no style and no substance. Its all about how big Bass speakers and Amps can you fit. The only thing I havnt found is where to hang the furry dice.
