obviously been away from the UK for too long (and I don't follow football) - 'cos I don't get it... The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

United won a famous victory against the small club down the road with a genuine, though deep into injury time goal

Manchester City boss Mark Hughes wants an explanation from the referee after Manchester United striker Michael Owen settled the derby in the 96th minute.
Substitute Owen slotted past Shay Given to seal a thrilling 4-3 win for United, despite the fourth official having indicated only four extra minutes. The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.

Mark Hughes can choose one of 3 explanations :-
1) Ref added on time for Bellamy's goal and celebrations
2) United always play to the goal, not the whistle - even when we are 4 -0 up - and Mark Hughes should remember that from his X2 times at Old Trafford
3) Mark Hughes can stick his questions up his welsh

The last kick of the game came as time was up, I support neither team so have no bias!
The 4th official showed 4mins minimum, the city goal celebration was timed at 56 seconds, and there was a substitution ading another 30 seconds, total time to be played = 5 min 26 secs.
Goal timed at 95 mins 26 secs!
Both teams could have scored, city chose to time waste, man u wanted to win and showed greater desire to do so. It is a measure of fergusons side that they don't give up until the final whistle.
If city want to break into the top 4, they need to learn what a winning mentality really is, their arch rivals are the ones to take the lesson from
Well done united - it really hurts to say that
As for city - sour grapes I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

As an unbiased egg chasing Yorkshireman, who has to listen to the drivel from both sides, & "The mighty County!" in the pub, I'll get my coat!!
