No, it looks like the input and exhaust valves have been failing and/or sticking. Obviously a software change also. If upon inspection, the input valve is found to be damaged, you get a new compressor.

10forcash,
I looked in GTR, but I cannot see A034/A036EXV3, only the UK version is listed for me. In which section (where) do you see it?
Regards, AN
I found it, by doing advance search on the word "Enhancement", bulletin is dated 14 June LR D3 S Black, Auto TDV6

The 'EX' version seems to be the same except it does not include any overlay looms to fix park brake issues.
Maybe you overseas customers don't have any park brake problems?
Sorry 10, just seen that you already mentioned this

Hi there!
I was informed today by TC that LR will recall most of the D3 to have a software update. So, I have called LR and before I mentioned anything, they asked me if I have received the recall letter. I said no, but I am sure is in the post. Anyhow, they booked it in for tomorrow morning to have all the software updates. Is there anything else that I should ask them to check? This GTR numbers means very little to me. Any advose appreciated. Also, how can I get th proof that they did update it to WDS14 od patch 6 or whatever is called the latest verwion?
Thanks
PS My VIN number is within that range.

Please ignore my previous message. I should have read the full thread, not just start asking stupid questions.

Yep, I paid the $$ for a 1 day sub and found it. Grabbed a few others as well so now I just need to plan a trip in to the dealer.

Yes, it looks like only the UK gets the wiring overlay on the park brake. Can't quite work that one out why only us

The wiring overlay is, I think. only applicable to very early VIN vehicles - before they started exporting to the US. It isn't, for instance, relevant to mine.
Mine is going in on 22nd for its makeover - though there isn't much that hasn't already been done. The whole process is done in the day.
Perhaps the most interesting aspect is that they called me; the tone of the call was entirely different to anything I have experienced before - if this marks a shift in approach to customers, then this is very good news.
