| What kind of % deals are dealers offering? |

Evening all,
Just entering negotiations on a D4 and have a "figure to change" in mind, this however is quite a bit out at the moment.
Has anyone any recent experience of haggling on a nearly new D4 and what kind of discounts did you manage to get?

Having a chat with my local dealer the other day he's telling me decent stock is hard to come by and demand is high, therefore not much leaway on the negotiation side... Or was this their excuse to ask a premiun price If it ain't broke... Take it apart anyway, how else you gonna find out how it works

No dealers are getting very limited stock at present with regards to new D4's, my local dealer had 3 allocated for the last quarter due to the amount LR are shipping to far east, far east are paying a huge premium for them. MY12 D4 HSE

It is possible to get discounts... even off new MY12 
But the dealers do seem to be able to sell their stock - or that's what they'd like us to believe.
I'd have thought there ought to be some discounts off MY11 / nearly new - especially given all the changes to MY12. D3 54 (Nov 04) Zambezi - For Sale

If there are no discounts to be had I need my D3 to be worth more than I paid for it then!
I've been watching this particular D4 on their site for a month so they're not fighting buyers off with a  stick.
I'll see what they say in the morning.
Anyone any experience of Harwoods in Croydon? If you aren't living life on the edge, you're taking up too much space!!

Discounts are too small to tempt me and my D3 is running nice, also don't like the XS spec and too tight to pay for an HSE. D5 in 2014/15 for me instead.

Plenty of broker sites offering new MY12 Discos with discounts such as drivethedeal etc al. Have a hunt on tinternet and should find some suitable price drops

I bought mine from the Co-op motor group in Leeds and just agreed a price to change. Then I joined the Co-op and gave them my membership number which gave me a divi too ! Disco 4 HSE SD V6

I got my Landmark with a discount off list.
An unbelievable trade in price on my 163k/6yr D3
Full set of Rubber Mats [to protect the supplied carpet mats]
Mud flaps
i pod lead
Half tank of diesel.
10% off all the accessories I ordered.
Free fitting of these accessories.
Oh and I got 10 months road tax back on my old D3
And was able to keep my Stormers/LTZ's and roofbars.
All in all, not a bad deal.
But then again I am a tight fisted North Yorkshire Scotsman  If I could think of anything intelligent, poignant or witty, I'd put it here !!!

being offered between 5 - 8% from dealers on a new commercial. However, P/Ex value varies by £3k so technically thats another 10% from one dealer !! 12 D4 Commercial SDV6
