need a new pair of wellies and like the reviews muck boots get.
anyone on here got the tay sport ones? wondering if they would be ok for all year round?
hate having cold feet in winter so looking for the tay sport but wondering if they will be too warm for summer use or does their airtec thingy really work?
any advice appreciated

I got Muckboot Derwents  They are very good, really keep your feet warm in the snow etc, a bit warm in the summer though  The only criticism I have is that the sole wears out very fast, within a few days the wear is obvious  that being said they are worth the dosh as my oldest pair is 3years old, totally bald tread wise and leak but still comfortable!

Have been looking to buy a pair of Muck Boots but can't find anywhere that sells them via a shop, and is not too far away, so I can try them on.

I tried a pair on in a garden centre in ambleside in the lakes (seemed to be a franchise shop inside the Hayes Garden centre)
damn comfy and warm but didn't need to pay that much for a pair at the time  D4 XS

@derek- Farm fencing in Tadworth stock some them
I have Tay Sports, had them for a year and a bit, very warm in winter without the need for thick socks,not tried em but may be too warm for all year

Muc Boots Del I have Le Chems as well for 53cm Calf you will be fine

Had a pair for 2 years, don't know how I've survived wearing that long without braking something, absolute killers in the wet, don't know how they are allowed to manufacture wellingtons with soles that are so slippy, unsafe on wet grass, concrete I daren't walk on it when wet.
After 3 months of falling on my ass  I tried some urathene glue the type that is used to stick windscreens in and gave them a retread and it worked very well, transformed them  , without doing it I would have dumped them.
They are very comfortable, warm and not heavy.
They now make a model with what they call super grip, the sole is a different material in the centre and they are £10/£15 more than the standard ones, well worth it if it works .

Im on my fourth or fifth pair of Tays, as mentioned some find them a bit slippy on wet concrete but Ive not had a problem with this. The regular Tays have been warm enough for me. The only issue Ive had is the neoPrene wearing on the achillies protector on the heel which can be bloody uncomfortable. Better to be approximately right than precisely wrong!

yes i use mine all year round just had them on been through the woods to set my trail camera up and it was very boggy but my feet are warm and dry Home of RLD Hidden winch mounts and soon external mount Tree and Rock Sliders Jerry can Holders Spare wheel Locks Off Road Towing Hitches Sankey Trailer Body Fabrications and much much more and keeping a look out for santa
more Helsport tents and other things for camping

plumbed for a pair of standard tays, figured i could always wear thick socks in really cold conditions if they wern't up to it. i guess they are going to be significantly better than wellies with wwelly socks that i current use.

I have a pair of Tay sports, fab in mud and cold and non compacted snow , but by golly are lethal in the wet, wet concrete is a no no and ice you might as well throw yourself on the floor , but the spec does say for use in mud so I was expecting the slippery side of em .
But I haven't had cold feet ever whilst wearing em and I suffer with bad circulation in the old feet.
