Just wondering from those that have lowered their suspension. Does it handle as badly as when the standard setup is at access height?

Any more than 15mm on a D3 and you may find when you go down to access height it will think it has bottomed out and immediately go to off road height, strangely upto 20mm is ok on the D4 which I am running at.
I don’t know what happens when you go over 100mph and the handbook states it lowers automatically by 25mm never got there It can when others can't,

No intention of doing it but as I’ve hurt my back I’m struggling to get in and out at the moment. I forget sometimes to return to normal height when I pull off the drive and it feels horrible.

What wheels & tyres are you using; and at what pressures?
Very low profile tyres on large wheels are, IMO uncomfortable, although they look good.

Hi, re the comment about forgetting to raise it.
They should auto raise at a specific speed. I think you can lock it e.g. when your in a multi story car park, but even then I think it auto raises or bongs like nuts over a set speed. Disco 3: Lotus Elise S1: Ferguson T20: Audi A2

It does automatically raid at speed.
My comment was saying that I forgot to lower it before getting out then struggling to get back in because it was too high.

You could switch on the ignition without getting in, open window, close the door and flick the switch to lower it.
