Been flooding a while, although they've just removed the barriers during the week for Ironbridge. Getting a bit worried and really wish I had the Disco before March Smile

Went to a meeting at Ironbridge at the weekend, most people were late because of the flood diversions. I wasn't going that way so it didn't affect me however I would have quite liked to have had a bit of fun in the Landy through the water Laughing

Is there much off road action around these parts then? I would imagine there could be but I guess need to check wayfinder first...?

I went to Farley Quarry near Much Wenlock a few weeks ago. That was great fun, however it's on the pricey side @ £35. We got lots of looks in the Freelander (most were defenders or old jap 4x4s), so I imagine if you went in a new Discovery everyone would stop and stare. Not sure whether that is good or bad! Their next off road day is on boxing day. Link- http://www.4x4funday.co.uk/offrd.html. This would be ideal if you're new to off roading, as it caters for all range of abilities and there is always someone there to help you out!

The best bet for green lanes in North Wales. I could PM you a pile of grid refs if you want, however I can't guarantee how accurate there are or what the lanes are like. The Long Mynd is also meant to be good for greenlaning, however I haven't been there in the freelander. I went there hiking, and it seemed very anti-4x4 to me, but I might just have been in the wrong areas.

Good luck for tomorrow John. Those IDIOTS on roundabouts will seem closer than ever when you're gently driving your new baby back home!
They could be dazzled by your shining teeth with that Permagrin!!
