LRA came over. Tried out full lock at access height and there's loud knocking noise. LRA said normal height would not be an issue, so we tried that and sure enough it wasn't a problem. So nothing done today. I'll still go home and grease the lock stops. TDV6 SE

Same problem with mine and same "fix". I can't believe that a small amount of grease can have such a drastic effect!!. Well done all who gave this advice!!! 2005 D3 TDV6 s

Same problem for me!! Great Fix It tip!! Ditto, from new heard the same noise when turning on my driveway, been worried but thanks, checked, greased & Bingo..... noise gone. Used Marine grade grease. Ren Colyn

The noise came back but not as loud. I then found that there are two stops on each wheel, one in front & one behind the wheel. Both greased and the noise is now gone. Ren Colyn
