CA personalized plate of.. you guessed it.. DISCO 3
Well it beats the previous ones I have had like
TOSSER - On a C5 Corvette (felt that was fitting)
UKNUTTA - Audi S4
HSITIRB - Audi A4
(symbl hand)4 ME - Infiniti FX45
SPUD 4X4 - On a current truck
ZIP LOB - Current Porky 911 C4 Cab
JO BBOX(symbl star) - Current Porky Boxster
Can't remember the rest but I am very pleased that this got overlooked !
Guy
P.S - Anyone got some good plates ?

Well done, very apt.
Am I right understanding that personal plates in the USA are not as valuable as in the UK?
D1 SCO would sell for £1000's of pounds over here. As would D15CO E (yes, people even take an E as a 3 and pay a fortune)

You are correct, I couldn't believe it, I moved to the US approx 10years ago and for ~$50/yr you carry a personalized plate (not owned but more rented).. My cousin bought Russ1 years ago in the UK and it is now worth a stupid figure..So this was an unexpected perk in relocating, thus I keep trying to find good ones but they refused FARTZ last year so the DMV is catching on .

They are and they aren't. If you have one someone wants badly enough, you could probably "sell" it for a good market price. But in general they would not be as valuable because of all the substitutes that would be available for most plates; such as the ones you just listed for DISCO.
Personalized plates are obtained from the State Motor vehicle department for a relatively small fee, if no one else has it. So there are a lot of them around, unlike the UK.
For example my son wanted the I SURF plate for the State of California, but of course it was not available because surfing is a popular activity here. However he was able to buy a car in Idaho, and was able to order the Idaho plate there because Idaho is landlocked, and it's not a popular plate there. He eventually sold the car in CA, and had to give up his Idaho plate when he bought a car in here.
I have a personalized plate for all the vehicles we own, including my motorcycle. 8) '06 LR3 4.4 V8 HSE Heavy Duty package, Satellite Radio, Luxury Package

Cool.
I had SNAABE on a Saab 9-3 - kinda cute.
Don't have one on the LR3 yet. It's only 12$ a more year here. I like D1SC03, SOD1RTE...ones that you have to think about a bit to figure out. Give me some ideas. I'm not so good at giving advice...may I offer you a sarcastic comment instead?

in Aus we have 3 letters followed by 3 numbers unless it's personalised and you can have almost anything you want including colour choices. once saw a plate with XTC-469 on it.

When there's room in my D3 for 7,
Climb in here Joe we'll soon be flying,
I can go just as fast with 7.

TOSSER - brilliant plate!
I saw a very nice RR Vogue driving around Soho in London, with the number plate: SOHO. Must've cost a few bob!

Tosser is one of those great words that Americans aren't generally aware of: working for a Californian company we frequently have those wonderfully pointless team-building meetings. One of these, a few years ago, involved being in groups and having to catch water-filled balloons. The event organiser said, "Get into two teams - one team catching, one team tossing. Now, who wants to be a tosser?" All the Brits who were there instantly stuck their hands up...

Saw DI6GER outside a construction site last week on a java D3 in Carluke.
Anyone from here?
and oddly enough I saw D11GER two days later on a BMW in South Yorks! I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
