| V8 LR3 fuel system 2005 vs 2008 |

I am looking at installing a Long Ranger secondary fuel tank on my 2005 LR3 and while looking at the website I saw there were 2 different models of tank available depending on the year of your car. One is for 2005 to 2007 and the other is for 2008 to 2009 and also covers the LR4.
I called the supplier and from what I could tell (terrible audio quality) he said there was something different about the emissions canister location or something was different.
Can anyone confirm if there is major differences between the early and late year LR3s?

I might not have 100% the correct answer, but you might be interested to know that the fueltank for the earlier models is no longer available and therefore the new ones can be installed into older cars. Had a problem with the front sensor leading to a replacement of the complete Tank and it took my poor dealer multiple phone calls and complains to LR to find out how the new tank is supposed to go into the old cars.
