It may be the sunroof drains.

No.
You want some of that thick nylon that is used on garden strimmers. There's a hole at the front edge of the sunroof tray. The pipe from here runs down the inside of the A pillar and out inside the wing.
It's the outlet that usually blocks up and this causes the tube to fill up and flow over then behind the interior trim and thus fill up the passenger footwell.

It will be the little outlet grommet that is blocked with cack and preventing the water draining away.

If your A pillar cover is wet, then probably blocked drain. If not then the end that goes through the bulk head is probably perished (ask me how I know) Big Cry Buy a pair of new drain tubes which are circa £20 each and fit them. The new versions have modified ends that should stop them perishing as quickly as the originals.

Same rules apply to drivers footwell.
The blocked grommet will be inside the wing vent on the outside of the car.
Remove the wing vent and prod the drain outlet with a suitable implement. Get ready for water to come rushing out and straight up your sleeve. Mr. Green
