Wow! what a great weekend we had!. I thoroughly enjoyed this weekend. It all been said really, but Andrew you are da man!
Thanks to all for everything, sadly I have no photo's cos' my wife nicked my camera and my D3 to go to some crappy rock concert
Luckily Betsy performed all that was asked, and we got home eventually. The beer and lack of sleep caught up with us at Stafford services, and we fell asleep in the car for 2 hrs!

Just like to say a big thank you to all who made the weekend possible.Big thanks to Andrew for the beer /disco tent ...i think without that we would of all been tucked up in our tents getting away from the rain.
Had a great weekend and met a great bunch of people. Can't wait for the next one .
Also Bodsey for sorting out the badges and signs for the D3's ...it made it much easier with all those people about

Duncan what size is the picture, not the mb but the actual dimensions. If you open the picture in 'paint' how big is it. If it fills the screen and some you will have to reduce the dimensions. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
This one crosses the line for me........ The line that says, My D3 will do whatever your Landie can do.........
Awesome photo, and well done to the gimp. Looks like a chip off the old block Andrew...... The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Thanks for the great weekend. We had a great time on the greenlanes, tixover and the safari drive around the tracks at Rockingham Castle. Wife had a blast on the drive on the safari drive too. AT2s holding up well, no complains.
Chickened out of staying on site, so we stayed at a hotel nearby and watched The Rise of the Silver Surfer in Kettering in the evening and had BBQ chicken (Nando's) nearby too. I guess it's close to camping.
Pics and vids to be uploaded soon.TDV6 SE

I think AndrewS or Marleene has a nice photo of my D3 doing the very same thing in the next bomb hole over 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Story behind the picture,
this was my second attempt of the "hill of death" after rob auggested i couldn't get up there for the second time, just after this picture was taken, my journey back to the bottom consisted of rubbing the banks and scratching the front drivers wheel arch and rear passenger wing, entirely my fault and should've curbed my "i can do this" attitude a bit earlier. probably should've had diff lock in too i didn't notice until we got home and were looking at the mud on the side, DOH! now i don't want to clean it as i also discovered scratches on my roof from driving into some low trees.
still if i keep telling myself this is what is going to happen and there are supposed to be scratches on a defender it will all go away!
Great weekend though thoroughly enjoyed tixover and the bar, nice to meet who-ever i met and it's nice to see some other defenders on site.
cheers all for arranging!I'm Powered by........Diesel
