Here’s to another 12 months, mot passed today with 2 brake hoses slightly corroded Ferrules as advisories. Not bad considering the welding I had done! check your body mounts and sills guys.

Was that a sign of madness

I'd say the madness has now come to and end. It's like having ten insane girlfriends with temper like quicksilver, and now settling down with a stolid farmers daughter.
Best of luck with the Volvo, that's a more sensible choice in the long term

Finally got around to cutting back the D3 front end to fit the facelift D4 bumper. You gotta really go at the lower air duct. Will need to cut some replacement rubber to make the fit look more factory from the inside.
Sanded, primed and painted in Raptor 2k. Will be doing the same to the rest of the plastic mouldings/arches. Just prefer the rugged plastic look to the paint matched stuff - which based off the breaker parts I sourced scratch up really easily!
Offset number plate to accommodate discrete winch and low-mounted hidden lightbar.
Also having trouble getting the D4 grill to clip in - top clips are fine but it just hangs, nothing to secure the bottom so it just opens up like on a hinge. Can’t see anywhere to run self-tappers either to secure it.

Well this weekend it was front lower arm replacement time on my 2016 D4.
All the knocks have gone but, what did I spot while rolling around under the car??.....
Yep, the rear prop bearing support rubber has gone so, guess that will be the next order from AF then
80k miles on the clock and has been faultless since my purchase in 2018 and still is. Dorian Woolger
