If it's not bad enough losing Murray Walker, I updated both our iPads. Apple and their security forcing me into 2 factor authentication without me asking for it
Phone's going bonkers with authentication codes no way around it.
Why do these people change my settings without my consent and offer me a convoluted route to get me back to where I was an hour before
Granted, I'm and Android/Windows user not IOS/OSX and I'm sure Android and Windows are just as bad but why should Apple ASSUME to change MY settings. Why not leave them as they are and politely suggest that I upgrade.
Tin hat donned.

When will IT (security) learn that they are to assist us doing our jobs as opposed to making it increasingly difficult.
Latest IT gloop here is (yes another) change in password structure to length minimum of 12, must have more than one non-alphanumeric, no double characters, no sequential letters or numbers and a forth requirement I can't remember. And then add the farce of MS's MFA (or at least as implemented) where one needs one phone to be beside you, turned on, have a signal etc......Rob Smith
Silver rools OK
My approach has always been that passwords should be memorable, not overly complex but changed monthly. Otherwise look for the post-it in top right drawer to hack someone's account..

Currently on the lookout for my sons first 50cc motorbike. The amount of out there is incredible. I wouldnât mind but when theyâre asking foe top price it gets annoying. The classic, â5 minute jobâ or âeasy fixâ and so on.. if it was a 5 minute job or an easy fix, then do the 5 minute jobs Nd easy fix, or just admit that your trying to pass on a piece of . Especially when a few more questions are asked and I get the responses , oh it just needs a new piston or similar!!

HMRC
HMRC !!! 40 minutes on hold and counting... was sent an email saying "there is a new document in your account"... check the account... no document... there is however a link to Self Assessment which says " we have created another account for your self assessment"... and how am I supposed to access this ??? then the automated service starts spouting on about phishing emails as I mentioned "email" when asked what I wanted to speak about.
Finally got through to someone called Richard Head I think... who then starts off about "why shouldn't you have to wait 40 minutes"...
No wonder people don't bother paying taxes !!!I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Corroded brake pipes are a common "failure" when there really is nothing wrong with them, it seems. A clean up and the same pipes pass. The tester sees crud on them and blows his whistle.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
