Not long ago, a Government would have fallen on their sword for 1% of the fiasco they have displayed.

First they'd spend 2 years arguing about what a sword is, then which sword they were going to fall on and then having jostled for position, they'd miss. Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
2012 RRS SDV6
2008 RRS TDV8

How many lives shattered. How much blood will spill, until everybody does what they were always going to have to do from the very beginning: SIT DOWN AND TALK!"

To be fair they do not have an easy task.
So many different views even in Brexiters on what Brexit really means and so easy to put the blame of everything on them (of course now should Brexit be a disaster then it is not Brexiters fault)
It is only easy and clear for a few well informed sitting in front of a computer
Whatever will come out of this when Brexit will happen everybody will be unhappyIt takes all sorts (to make a world).

And this whole fiasco was to appease a small but vocal minority in the Tory party.
Knowing what we know know as we go through the process, hand on heart, do leavers really believe that people would still vote to leave?
Ideology vs reality. Its a complete fack up.
Er, I thought 17.4 million voted to leave the EU, not what I would call a small minorty.
Personally I think that talk of a second referendum is disgusting, showing a complete disregard for democracy, but then the EU are never to concerned about democracy.
If I was leading the negotiations I would tell the EU to forget about the £40 billion quid to prop up their finances until they start being sensible.
The EU has far more to lose than we have if we tell them to sod off without a deal.

Roughly 52% in favour, 48% against, 4% majority in favour. Narrow win. Plebescite democracy at its best. Tyranny of the popular will. Minority interests ignored. Hard, hard, hard Brexit! Yeah, that’s what the simple yes/no question really meant.
Leading the negotiations? The only negotiations are between the UK government and various factions of the Tory Party. Pity Barnier. He’s got nobody to talk to.
The EU has more to lose? No, really, seriously, it should’t be a win-lose thing, but TMPM threw so many red lines out there - like imperial bunting - that the UK has effectively chosen to become a Third Country without a deal. And that’s going to hurt. Not inflicted by the EU. A home grown no deal - just as Boris, Gove, Davis, Fox, JRM et al wanted it. Watch them squeal when Tory exceptionalism comes into contact with the hardest imaginable no deal Brexit, and the UK crashes out onto WTO rules (oh, no, Donald!, don’t trash the WTO ... please don’t foment a global trade war just when Liam’s about to start work).MY91 110 CSW, so long ago I can barely remember it - sold

I find it strange that everyone who voted to remain has a monopoly on predicting the future, both inside the UK and Europe ??? Maybe they just think everything in Europe would have stayed the same forever... no political change in Italy, Spain or Greece, or maybe a downturn in German economics? This ability to predict the future should have been put to better use!
