I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Right, all of you should now have PMs in your inbox telling you which park bench to leave the cash under.

Whistle

If you haven't got the pm, scream here:

Those of you in the UK should have received your bungs by now.

Here's what you need to do with it:

Just put the bung in until the washer is just visible a the bottom of the exhaust. Now turn the wing nut (perhaps 1-2 turns) until it grips the inside of the exhaust. Now give it another couple of turns of the wing nut and your exhaust is well and truly bunged, leaving the other exhaust to fill your air jack Thumbs Up

You don't need to go mad getting it super tight, just get it to grip then a couple more twists of the wing nut is plenty.

Blimey, that's the one that's sold in the UK as the Draper (details here) Not sure I'd want to rely on getting enough lift in sand though, if it just raises the wheels on concrete at 80% full. Be very keen to see it tested in sand if you get the chance?

And cheers for the praise Thumbs Up

Doing a major run (180km) through the Wahiba sands on Thurs/Fri this week. (Central Oman) Will do some trials on the jack n bung combi, take pix and report back. Final dune is supposed to be some 150m and to get out you must descend the dune to the beach - another 40km drive back to the nearest village and blacktop road.

How much lift is required? Dunno yet, but presumably once the wheels are off the ground after extended mode, it's enough to change a wheel...............we'll see on Thursday.
