I finally got round to replacing the thermostat this afternoon. The rubber seal was mis-shapen and it was rough when pushed in and out.
Took it on the nursery run and it was warm inside a couple of miles. Much better.
Discovered the bonnet catch issue immediately afterwards!! Another simple issue but another part to buy.

Well it looks like my D3 ownership will soon be coming to an end!
Jut bought a FFRR.
Best give the D3 a damn good polish this week and buy an ad with some pics. Never trust a skinny chef

The V8 should sell well here, I think. PAGODA

Forget about the polish - how much are you looking for the V8? Jim

Wow at that money it should not take long to find a new home. There are just none about any more. Please don't make the photos too good or she'll be asking why i'm measuring the drive again

Like kajtzu , I also fitted the P Scorpion AT+ to 19s, and had a good test with them this weekend.
Fast Gravel, handled very well.
Corrugations - might need to test some other PSIs but at 25 they were ok
Hard Sand - perfect!
Soft Sand - Needed lower PSI (tested at 25)
The v8 handled amazingly well at almost anything I could throw at it. but I think it may be time to change the spark plugs as something feels a little bit off.
And the best thing is... I filled up a full tank and used it all (85% of tank) off-road. The cost was €0.895 / litre or £0.772 /L Pre-Production

Hello Chaps
Previous 2012 D4 owner.
Currently looking at this https://www.pbtradecars.co.uk/used-cars/la...1306629596
Any thoughts?
It has a full service history. Appears very clean underneath has no tow bar or electrics fitted and is pretty tidy inside.
Engine starts on the button and sounds sweet as a nut.
The air suspension is slow to rise and a few internal and external trim bits to sort. So would be looking to negotiate.
What do you all think?

check when it last had a thermostat and housing as if it hasn't had one it will need one for sure and probably a set of coolant hoses 05 D3 V8 HSE, LR Passion tree bars, wildbear compressor guard, LRP switch panel, ARB rear locker + compressor, Trigger 6 shooter electrical system

No sunroof, no rear AC as someone else already noted. That these aren’t present is a positive thing Looks really nice.
If you have a code reader (IID, etc.) do read the codes if you go and look at it. Shops rarely seem to clear them and they’re interesting to loom at afterwards....
