That's due to the detail they've gone into describing the method to make a great coffee with an Aeropress.
In reality, it takes me less than two minutes all in, inc. the time it takes to get the water to heat to just off boil.
Here's the official video:
Espresso grind is definitely best.
No bitterness or metallic taste, which was why I quoted CFB 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

I don't mind a cup of tea but it just doesn't hit the spot. Coffee every day of the week.

Old Faithful gives 2 large mugs of coffee (one in the ceramic cup and one in the thermal cup as in the pic above) in 10 minutes from wheels stop to wheels rolling again. That's perfect time for a quick wee, sort out the rubbish that's accumulating in the footwell of the car, bit of scoff and figure out where I'm going next.
PS that pic is when parked up on the Tana River (Finnish side) bit south of Utsjoki. Looking forward to getting up there end June/early July.

Aside from 1 cup when my thermos broke and i needed a hot drink off one of the other lads hiking with me, i haven't drunk tea since i had my tonsils out age 5. Before te that i loved it but couldn't stand it after... Didn't like coffee either for 16 years..

These guys do a subscription service and there's currently 50% off. I'm not on it but have tried a few bags of their coffee. All very tasty.
I head over now and again for a flat white, they make a great coffee and you can watch them roasting in background.
For anyone interested in Coffee the pre packed stuff is nowhere near as good as a fresh roasted, you need to get the coffee bean before it leaches a lot of it’s oils which you can’t do with supermarket coffee
Buy some fresh roasted, wait until it’s about 4-10 day’s from when it was roasted, then make a brew. Promise it’s a whole different story - and I’m absolutely no coffee snob, honest!!MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)
