United Kingdom 2011 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 XS Auto Sumatra BlackDiscovery 4

this thread has revived memories of when I shared digs in Boscombe with a group of lads. One of them decided to spew all over the bottom half of the stairs and was so Censored he didn't surface the next couple of days. I cleared it up, scooped the solids then washed the carpet as best I could, then used "shake'n'vac" liberally several times but it never really shifted the smell. And to this day, I heave a little when I smell anything remotely like "shake'n'vac".

so perhaps "sell it" may be your eventual (not really a ) choice ?

happened to me once. used diluted ammonia, wet vacced, did again, worked!!
on another note, I have cleaning/odour control solution, designed for dog anal gland secretion, ( the joys of cocker spaniel ownership), it does work, not tried it on milk, not cheap product.

Well, drastic action this morning... decided the only way to get the milk out of the footwell was this... looking at the thickness of the foam on the underside of the carpet there's no way a wet vac would even get close!

Got bigger problems now though... Found a second hand front carpet but when I went to go & collect it the car wouldn't start! AA called no joy so booked for a 'lift' to the independent on Monday morning! Looking like the liquid in the passenger side inner sill has lead to more than a nasty smell... time to search for the symptoms in the forum

NS sill is where most of the wiring loom issues tend to originate. Search the forum for "splice" to see what I mean.

Oh, and "biobrisk" works wonders on milk.
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
