Yes, there is more available on Icarsoft but other than clearing faults you can do nothing else. Still? It's a good value tool for what it isyµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Thinking i only need a code reader and calibrate suspension and perhaps steering angle sensor. Most other work that needs calibrating after would be done at garage anyway ?? not diy ??

OK well I'm not sure if there is an Icarsoft that can do suspension and other settings. Tbh you would be better of with an IID as it can do everything and will pay for itself very quickly.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Been a busy few days so not really had an opportunity to do a lot else, however I did strip the tank completely off again and even went back into the inside the tank to check all connections in there, one of the click connectors seemed to not be pushed back in 100% as I swear I heard it click when I was checking them, I checked all of the return pipes that I could see but nothing looked untoward.
I am waiting on a new sensor arriving as I sent the ones that I had back as they were incorrect, I have managed to get a new one with the exact same part number and it should be with me tomorrow (Hopefully).
My wife went into the local dealer parts dept on my behalf and asked for a price for the sensor the other day and they tried to sell her a Diesel Leak Off Pipe & Sensor, which is not something that I had considered changing, they seemed lost when she tried to explain that I was after a HPFP sensor....
Reference the live values I have not managed to do this as the car is still running in limp mode and the fuel pressure is still reading as 199990 .
I am hoping that after the sensor is changed that it may fix it and if not at least let me get proper readings as the old one seems to be broken now.
I have a friend who has a much better machine than me and if I can either get him down here or get the car to him as he says his machine has far better capabilities than mine.
Here is hoping I can at least move forward as it is dementing me now

Hi David,
Well that's interesting re the in tank connector. I can absolutely sympathise with your frustrations when something like this happens, but I suspect you may well have nailed now once the switch arrives. If it works what do you put it down to connector or switch? Well best to count the chickens then perhaps yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

If it works, which I am still sitting with everything crossed hoping for, then I would put it down to the connection on the tank.
As I mentioned way back at the beginning of the whole drama, it was running fine for a few weeks after replacing the LPFP until I went back in to sort the float level.
Here is hoping that the sensor arrives tomorrow and I can get back into it for the weekend as the kids have just broken up for school holidays today so don't want to be driving them around in the truck for their Hols.....

So the new sensor finally arrived today, I fitted it and after a few turns away it went. Then we had a fuel leak, sensor wasn't tight enough I think, so I nipped it up and turned it over again, NOW IT WON'T START
Anyone any suggestions ???

Got it running late last night by disconnecting the FP sensor to start it, had fault codes come straight back on, kept it running and connected the sensor back up and engine hunted a bit for around 5-10 seconds then settled.
Still had gearbox fault but had some gears and traction, which was not there before, took it a run for about 5 miles, which wasn't great as the car was lacking power and running on when the throttle was released but it drove.
Got it back and it was smoky under the bonnet when I stopped as if still having a diesel leak, but couldn't see anything (too dark).
So cleared codes down when it was running and still left with P0087 Fuel Rail/System Pressure too Low. Not what I had before but could this all point to a leak somewhere not allowing enough pressure and causing the smoke?
