Suspension help
Hi all,
I’m Karl based in West Sussex. After buying my first discovery 3 1 year ago I have a suspension issue which I hope you guys can help me with 👍
So I had the yellow suspension warning light come on intermittently and it reset most of the time with a stop and start on the key. It was like that for a couple of weeks, I kept leaving it thinking I’ll sort it when I get time. Anyway I didn’t and then it became a permanent yellow light about 2 mins after starting the disco. (I’m not too clued up on the air suspension, I did have 2 d2’s but luckily no issues with the air suspension).
What I noticed was the compressor was constantly running even in access mode until the light came on.
So I took the car to a local land rover specialist to find my fault, and the outcome was basically a worn out compressor (Amk new design).
Now with a new compressor fitted like for like the compressor is still constantly running. Took back to local specialist and he thought it was strange and no codes were found. I have done dropped the air reservoir and sprayed with soapy water likewise with all accessible pipes, struts and also cleaned front valve block as front did seem a fraction slower than the rear.
Has anyone come across this before?
Also the car uses all its height modes as normal the compressor will only stop to cool or when your selecting a different mode.
Thanks in advance.

Hi
Have u checked that it does drop overnight
If u put the suspension into normal height , measure ur wheels from the bottom of the wheel arches to the centre of the wheels
Front 465mm rear 485mm
Pull fuse F26 from the engine bay , leave over night or as many hours u can if using the landy, remeasure ur suspension
Just to see if there is indeed a leak or something else if going on
Also ensure the pressure sensor wiring is ok and plugged into ur reservoir valve block
