Which LED bulbs are you guys using?

UltraLeds do the following tail/brake bulbs that have side mounted LEDs to light up the reflector:

U38025R (380) 15mm Baynet 25 Red Led Stop & Tail Bulb @ £8.23
Brightness Rating - MCD 240,000 Mcd
http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/product_info.ph...ts_id=1207

U38020R Ultraleds Light Tower 380 S & T WA Red Leds 20 Leds @ £9.99
These have 15 side LEDs and only 5 forward facing, so would be better and lighting up the reflector.

U38035R(380) 15mm Baynet 35 Red Led Stop & Tail Bulb @ £11.75
Brightness Rating - MCD 350,000 Mcd

Before I order, I want to make sure I get the correct ones and not something that is just too bright.

I fancy getting the flashing ones at http://autolumination.com/1156_1157.htm

has anyone thought of replacements for the top stop light. How do you get at the bulbs anyway.
Also iterior lighting, the black interior really soaks up the light from the incandescents.
I can find replacement tail lights but the flat pinned interiors i can only find o/s on the net.
If i am going to order a few for the interior i would like to know if they will work.
any ideas?

that answers one question.
The replacement for the interiors would seem to be the old dash light style. replacement dash lights not may be bright enough.

Ken, I've used the same LEDs for the tail and stop lights and am pleased with the result. I'd be very interested to know what LEDs you select for the indicators

Putting LEDs in the indicators will require adding a resistor into the wiring loom on each. Should be easy enough if the loom is accessible and the correct wire can be indentified.
LED indicators would look really cool. This is where the LEDs work the best.

Back on the tail light LEDs, I was wondering if I should try the following type
as these emulate a traditional bulb a bit better - i.e. light is more evenly distributed in all directions, so the reflector is lit up more.
It may not be needed, Kens' looked fine, but I was thinking that these ones below wouldn't produce such a bright central point of light and would be more like the original effect.
They have 15 side facing LEDs and only 3 forward facing LEDs. It could be that there isn't enough forward facing. What are you thoughts?
