its alright for you S owners Evil or Very Mad yours seem to be ok as they dont have a lot of stuff to cope with....its us HSE owners who get discriminated against.......I rekon the D3 is a socialist at heart Twisted Evil

ony hooks in my car are the ones Ive stratgically placed to ensure should a LR tech actually bother to put his hand in the engine to see wtf is going on with mine at the moment, he wont be able to get it out again... Twisted Evil Laughing

no which buttons should I press to see if this works again Laughing

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGHHHH..........WHY WHY WHY.

ok so Ive finally given in and been out to the D3 to try this out.

and

It unlatches the tailgate so that it half unlocked, but you cant actually lift it because its still caught. Sad

DG I think you must have one of the rare D3's with the incorrectly working emergency tailgate release.... please return yours to the dealer so it can be repaired to operate as per the manufacturers specification like mine. Wink

Mine doesn't work properly, there again it doesn't work properly at the rear unless I push the button and pull quickly, otherwise it catches and I have to close it and try again. It just needs the latch adjusting slightly to fix it though, I'll get round to it one day Rolling Eyes
