Don't keep us in response on this Ron. What's happening?
Just out of local garage yesterday, they cann't find any leaks.
Will book into LR Dealer and see if they've any specific tests for the D3 system.I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Ron
Have you thought about giving Pete at BAS a call on this issue I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

No haven't SJR, didn't think it was his type of work.
Thought Pete was maninly into re-maps, intercoolers, etc.
Is this his sort of area?I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

I was just putting 2 + 2 together and probably coming up with 99
I was thinking that if he is involved with intercoolers etc. then he may have extended knowledge of coolant issues and so forth. Looking at the web-site it can't hurt to give him a call before you call the dealer, at least you will know it will be an unbiased view
edit: if it isn't his area, you have only lost the cost of a phone call I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Ronp your garage need to do the following checks as has been said before above.
1.Pressure test the cooling system and test coolant bottle cap
2.Hydrocarbon test on coolant this will be the easier to do
3 Cylinder compression test this might show up where there are possible cracks or blown gaskets.
Have you noticed water/steam from the exhaust? coolant may be getting blown through gasket or crack and out an exhaust valve.
Hows the oil? no signs of emulsification???
Hope this helps,my old mukker m8 bro

No visible drips or antifreeze staining.
No emulsification in oil or on cap.
No water out of exhaust.
No water in carpets.
No rear aircon.
but plenty of steam coming out of my ears I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Does the Auto oil cooler line use one of those nasty unforgivable heat exchangers inside the radiator sidetank?

Good thought there stapldm.
The guy who works on & tests my D3 said he felt that it didn't seem to let go of second on 'change up'.
But personally I don't think I've a problem there.

no upset intended
Simple fact is that the coolant can only leak externally or internally and i hope that all the test mentioned above will find the problem
It a pain when your motor goes down,i know,i hate being without my D3 for anytime.
Ronp hope you ge to the bottom of this soon.
