I have had my D4 for 2 weeks now.
The Start stop is Rubbish.
Everytime i want to park backwards, the engine stops.
On my normal way to work ist stops about 8 times. 6 times of it shorter than 5 seconds. 1 time parking.
I have driven a lot of german cars and it was also annoying but not THAT annoying.
I could live with it when:
- the initial setting would be "off", so i could turn it on occasionally.
- it would wait 10 seconds before turning of.
I hope the Gap Team will make that possible sometime.

Hi Dutchrockboy
It's still in the plans and we would most probably implement the initial to OFF variant.

When did you last drive a German car? This is exactly how my 2014 5 series behaves

Initial to off without the dashboard warning would be my preference

There has to be a way, it would be nice to have the light out, but I can live with it even though is more intrusive than my MY14 BMW, for long periods you would think it never had start stop.
I managed to disable the eno/stop/start with my IDD Tool a while ago. No idea how - which is now a problem as I'd like to give the wee battery a charge since I'm running other things from it.
I was wondering if the wee one could be replaced with a real size battery which would let me run a winch from it.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

Question: How do you do that then?

Just press the Eco button in the centre console! You have to do this every time you start the vehicle.D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT
D4 MY13 HSE Lux - RLD/IID BT
P38 RR - Sad parting
110 - Even sadder parting
