No worries
When installing O rings it’s best to put a smear of oil onto them

Thanks.

Dealer quoted me £500 plus £100 for diagnostics to replace a door lock
Wow that's plain mad.
I paid £190 for diagnostic on a transfer box on an X5. I told them what was happening, they told me that they have had issues with the transfer boxes on this model and it would need to be replaced. However they would need to do "diagnostics" on it first.

Hi
Must admit that did take me back after getting the quote
Considering the lock cost me £60 quid
Basic service from them is £600 , gulp
Trouble is with all the showrooms and staff has to be paid somehow

Just had a quote for mine by a local air con expert (recommended by a friend who had his D3 done a few years back) to replace the rear air con pipes with plastic ones for £380
Is that a good price?
Can't do another year without Aircon!

If that’s all inclusive of testing re-gassing etc. I guess it’s not a bad price. Much better than replacing with the LR pipes that will rust out again.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Demand?
New gas replacing it? (In America)
Thanks to the link for the oil.
The system also has a small amount of oil in it to keep the compressor lubricated.
