Hmmn.
Come to think of it they were both women drivers.
One had a bloke in the passenger seat.
He looked like one of those keep fit types, you know, like a gym instructor or tennis coach maybe.
Nice pictures BTW. Where-abouts in Swaledale? I know the area well.

Snow again! Drove back from t'North to find serious snowfall starting 30 miles from home. Roads chaos - people leaving cars everywhere. Drove smugly home with snow mode and HDC - steady as a rock.
Then went to pick up my police daughter from her late shift - no chance of her getting her car out of the car park. And I wasn't about to tow it 15 miles ... This morning found out that most of her colleagues slept the night at the police station!
The D4 is a fantastic car! Paul

Self, Mrs & the kid out for a drive in the D4 (seeing lambs being born and visiting the pony)
Came across the Ride for Afghan Heroes. Truly awesome (and I mean that in the non American way) - really amazing. You may see it on the news but you'll never understand the scale of 500+ bikes going past your car.
Overal there were 10k+ bikes going out in 400 to 600 blocks then a break and then another block.
Wow! Full respect!

Took the horse out for a pedal, safe in the knowledge of appropriate vehicle support!

Spent 4 days in a D4 with 5 people inside driving round windy wet Cornwall
What a superb car it is
never missed a beat, engine really responsive and smooth
all passengers remarked on comfort and ride comfort
Looking forward to a drive to Scotland in a couple months in one Genuine Land Rover Parts supplier extraordinaire..
If you want it, i have it, if i don't have it, i can get it, if i can't get it, they don't make it.. All GENUINE LAND ROVER.

| I drove through a big puddle.......... |
|
..........with the sun roof open
Fortunately I was driving
The rear passengers received some 'facial moisturising'
Can't believe how quickly water splashes up onto the screen for such a high vehicle

Got back about an hour ago, just chilling with a glass of Aberlour
Car coped admirably with me + six 18 year old lads, plus all their camping stuff (and all their booze).
Car park (field) was like a swamp tonight. MTR's were a bit overkill but you can't be too careful!
As I was dropping the lads off at their various homes they all thanked me and commented on the 'awesome machine'!

Went for a drive in the forest.

Afterwards I got the suspension in super extended mode by using the original jack to fool the computer; then I installed mud flaps.
- in retrospect it might have been smarter to install mud flaps first, then go for a drive in the forest.
