I'm struggling to see why it would fill with water at the levels on that picture - mines been that deep at Tixover and Tong I'm sure - you did have the bung in over the spare wheel winch didn't you?

Geeze, the embarrasement would be enough for me. I once, 2 yr ago, sat at a simialr point with a well established ford to go do a house call for an elderly patient .... 2007 monsoon season [we once called them summers] as the water roared by thougt well 2.7T but still... took the long way round which still involved a lot of 2 foot wading. Thanks my friend for demonstrating that my judgement was correct! I am sorry though happened to you! Imagine that the NFU will be a lot better than some.

Although his DNA will of been taken as he wasn't convicted of anything he has the right to ask for it to be removed from the data base. But if they follow the letter of the law this should already of been done.

I suspect the least of Clives worry is his DNA on a database at the moment.

Agree, awaiting the insurance would be my worry - where does he stand on this??.

Also, re DNA, nothing to hide no worries.

I though it was only written of if its been submergered in sea (salt) water. As this was freshwater, a dry out and clean should be OK.

The water started coming in through the bottoms of the doors after about 20 minutes or so but it was quite a bit deeper on the night, it was almost up to the door handles at one point.
