No it's at Bramshill, Hook.
LR Sat Nav loves that road, no idea why, that ford swells badly as does the one up in Yately when there is lots of water about
Hope it gets sorted...

I am with Adrian Flux and they do cover off road as opposed to just green lane.

Funny that, I'm getting old and worrying less!! maybe it's just senility setting in.
Insurance not sorted yet but the wheels are in motion, I had a few calls from NFU this week, clarifying things and whatever and they seem OK with it, more or less confirmed the car will be a write off and said I should be getting a settlement offer within about 5 days. Already sent me a cheque for £250 to cover loss of personal effects.
All in all a very prompt service I'd say, just need to wait and see what they have to offer now.
Out of curiosity I called Hunters at Guildford to see what they had available as a replacement and to get an idea on price, they told me they had a nice 56 plate HSE at 27 grand, that's 2 grand more than I paid for my 57 plate SE a year ago
Not really sure what's going on there, what ever happened to depreciation?Clive

Hi Clive
Thats definatly top end with 46K on the clock, (in fact over the top) there are plenty of 07's with half the mileage on the LR used approved site for less.

Got a call from the NFU today to confirm the car is a total loss, discussed it with the guy and taking all into account we came to a settlement figure of a bit more than what I paid for the car a year ago.
Time to start looking for another D3
Sad thing is though, I cant buy the car back as salvage. Apparently it's classed as a category B which means it has to go to a registered dismantler and be "de-identified" so that it can only be used as parts - or crushed. (what a waste)
I'm just glad I managed to get to it first and took off the Parrot, Mantec bash plate and the Zenons and refitted the original bits, at least I'll not have to buy them again for the next one.Clive

Clive good to hear that they've settled it and hopefully you're happy with the figure.
If you get a new one with Bluetooth in it then remember I'd like you parrot.
I guess you'll be looking for a RAI for the new one?

Glad they've resolved it - NFU are pretty good in that regard. Hmm - wonder here it'll go. Did it have the e-diff??
BTW, love the new Avatar - most appropriate! Regards,
