ok, newbie here. Have just bought radio controls and cruise controls off ebay...checked to make sure it had the same product codes that The Large One referenced....fingers crossed! I am down in Bath and wondered if anyone knew of a 'friendly' dealer or someone in the SW who could help me enable them if it doesn't all go to plan? Many thanks!

Finally gave up on waiting for the chance to get someone to enable my CC and took the plunge on my own Faultmate MSV-2!
(not that I bought it just to enable the CC, of course - that really would be mad!)2001 D2 GS (I must be mad!)

Yeah, but there's quite a lot I can do with it at this stage. And I already have the Faultmate FCR, so will sell that on to recoup some of the new outlay.
If I keep saying that, I'll convince myself its worthwhile 2001 D2 GS (I must be mad!)

I'd nearly find an excuse to drive to Dublin, just to give you some more practice on the gizmo with CC activation n stuff

I'd be happy to... but sadly, since my MSV-2 is locked to my car I wouldn't be able to 2001 D2 GS (I must be mad!)

Oh So how does the likes of Adam be able to do the business? Just different s/w
If I ever get the urge to invest, I know who to get some advice from now though eh?

You can buy a single vehicle license tailored to your own car (like mine), or a multi-vehicle license that will then talk to all cars of the type you have bought it for (which could be many makes and models). Mucho wonga for that though, so you'd need to be in the car business to justify it methinks.
And if you do take the plunge, all advice will readily be given if needed... 2001 D2 GS (I must be mad!)
