well... now I am confusing.
Because mine "I" works. It navigates through the display items, but do not lead me into the config menu...
Am I crazy?

You can only access the config menu when stationary

YES, is the button marked "i" at the end of intermittent control but, in your case, only allows access to the basic functions of consumption, average consumption etc ... you might see more options if you have active "configuration" menu...and for that, in your basic D3, you will need the IIDtoool Thumbs Up

I have as above ^ plus auto door lock enabling / disabling, units change for consumption figures, along with features I can't use like mirror dip in reverse.

Hi Lads, I can see this post is a few years old but by any chance would someone have a name/number for the bloke in Waterford? Thanks in advance for any help!

How to revive and old topic 101:

2006 Manual D3 TDV6 SE
I've got an IID Tool and just installed the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel. What setting on the IID Tool do I need to change in order to activate the cruise control?

I can't even find those settings on the IID tool... must be D4 specific?

Searched some more and found this:

IIDTool Menu->Car Config->BCM Body Control->Cruise Control Display set to FULL PRIORITY
IIDTool Menu->Car Config->BCM Body Control->JAG Cruise Control set to NORMAL
And
IIDTool Menu->Car Config->BCM Body Control->Cruise Control and verify that it is set to Fitted

But these settings aren't on my IID CCF menu either... tool is updated as I've just done the remap and had to go through all the update etc process so really confused on what's going on. Can anyone help?

When mine was fitted I just went into the CCF and changed one or two settings that had to do with cruise control, tried it and it worked.

I think its fairly obvious in there.

Need to set CC to fitted (and the non active type)

If your steering wheel buttons aren't controlling things/radio, you may need to set them to Ladder,
but leave that alown unless you suspect a problem with them

Not so obvious...

I've found these isntructions on the GAP site:
IIDTool Menu->Car Config->Instrument Pack->
* Steering wheel control set to Resistive ladder 1
* Speed Control set to Fitted

However this is what's available to me with my settings (taken from the tool):

Ovrspd warn
Disabled

Reverse warning display

Speed control
Speed control is fitted
Speed dependent front windshield wipers

Speed dependent intermittent windshield wipers

Resistive ladder 1
User Personalisation

...but still not working. Horn works, buttons light up with lights.
